Job description

Responsibilities

  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and regional Data Chapter analytics professionals, to identify the opportunities to deliver data-driven initiatives aligned with Managing through Journey (MtJ) goals and objectives
  • Employ advanced analytics techniques and leverage machine learning algorithms to hidden patten, trends and opportunities that inform and enhance business decision-making
  • Champion the adoption of data visualization practices to establish effective monitoring mechanisms aligned with Data-Driven Operating Model (DDOM) principles and analytics frameworks and effectivelymunicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify key business priorities and develop analytical frameworks and AI / ML solutions to derive insights and actionable rmendations. Establish and access the success metrics and oues to ensure the effectiveness of implemented strategies
  • Collaborate with data scientists to explore and develop the innovation solutions and models utilizing AI, machine learning and generative AI techniques. Actively participate in the experimentation throughout the implementation and evaluation phases, providing the feedback on model accuracy and reliability
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in AI / ML solutions both within and outside the organization. Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive the adoption of practical solutions ( Code Buddy) that enhance operational efficiency
  • Identify and implement new workflows across various domains to ensure data quality, enhance operational efficiency and promote best practices throughout the organization
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned, participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, and contribute to projects such as data transformation and migration initiatives.

Requirements

  • University graduate in Business Analytics, Management Science, Statistics, Operational Research,puter Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of data analytics / AIML related experience with strong understanding of the Banking industry or financial institution highly desirable
  • Strong technical expertise in data analytics tools and AI / ML or Generative AI technologies and programming skills, , SQL, Python, R, data visualization (, QlikSense or equivalent tools) and big data platforms (, Hadoop, Spark), with an understanding of application to financial data.
  • Strong analytical skills with good understanding of statistical methodologies. Good knowledge in data management is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to convertplex financial data and analytics outputs into actionable insights and rmendations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with an ability to inspire, motivate and influence a diverse team of analytics professionals and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating across functions, building strong relationships, and driving data-driven initiatives.
  • Effective storytelling, presentation andmunication skills.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
