The Assistant Student Wellness Manager will work closely with the Student Wellness Manager to promote student well-being and provide support in developing and implementing comprehensive wellness programs for students. The role will involve assisting in the identification of wellness needs, coordinating initiatives, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. The Assistant Student Wellness Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance student life and ensure the provision of effective wellness services.
Responsibilities :
A. Program Development and Implementation :
- Assist in designing and implementing activities tailored to the specific needs of students.
- Collaborate with the team to identify wellness gaps and develop creative initiatives.
- Support the planning and execution of wellness-related learning and developmentprograms.
B. Faculty and Staff Engagement :
Work collaboratively with faculty and staff across programs to empower and mobilize them in addressing students' personal needs.Foster a culture of care, inclusiveness, and support withing departments to enhance student life beyond academic concerns.Provide guidance and training to faculty and staff on topics related to student well-being.Collaborate with academic departments, non-academic offices, and external organizations to enhance student well-being.C. Crisis Intervention and Support :
Assist in providing emotional support and stabilization for students in crisis situationsCollaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement crisis intervention protocols and procedures.Coordinate referrals to appropriate resources and services for individuals in need.D. Data Management and Evaluation :
Assist in collecting and analyzing data related to student wellness programs and services.Maintain accurate records and generate reports on program participation, outcomes, and effectiveness.Contribute to the evaluation and assessment of programs, making recommendations for improvement.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.5 years’ experience in youth development, counseling, or wellness programs is desirable.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with diverse populations and embrace inclusivity.Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English is required.Proficiency in using productivity tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office).Duration : 2 years)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
