We are collaborating with a rapidly expanding Chinese wholesale bank operating in the Hong Kong and China markets. This bank offers a diverse array of corporate banking products and maintains a robust portfolio of mid-cap and large corporate clients, as well as conglomerates.
The Role
Responsibilities :
- Manage and serve a portfolio of SOEs / Top POEs (Outbound Guarantee transactions are focus) in China, ensuring their financial needs are met with tailored solutions. Proactively develop new client relationships through strategic networking and business development efforts.
- Cover full suite of corporate banking lending products - bilateral loans, syndicated finance and cross-selling of a variety of corporate banking products including global markets, cash management etc. to existing clients, enhancing overall satisfaction and loyalty.
- Prepare and present comprehensive credit proposals that align with the bank's policies and risk appetite.
- Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to monitor performance and proactively address any credit quality issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including credit analysts and product specialists, to deliver optimal solutions for clients.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes affecting the corporate banking sector.
Your Profile
Qualifications :
A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree is advantageous.7 to 12 years of experience in commercial banking or corporate relationship management, specifically covering large corporates and mid-caps in China.Strong understanding of corporate banking products and services, including credit analysis and risk assessment.Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets within the commercial banking sector.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Apply Today
