Position Overview :

• You will be part of a dedicated team of linguists teaching one of the following languages : Spanish French Japanese or Chinese. Your timetable will primarily focus on your language of specialisation covering the full age and ability range including IB Standard and Higher Level courses.
• Deliver effective lessons in the Middle Years Programme ab initio course in the IB Diploma Programme and / or International GCSEs in the abovementioned languages.
• Utilise data on student learning outcomes to shape and enhance teaching strategies and curriculum design.
• Build positive relationships with students colleagues and the wider community to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Actively participate in professional learning teams within the Languages faculty contributing positively to collective goals and initiatives.

General Requirements

IMPORTANT NOTE : The iPGCE (assessment only) does not qualify for Teacher Registration status from the Hong Kong Education Bureau which is a crucial requirement for teaching at an ESF school.
