Job description

Major Responsibilities

  • To contribute to strategic planning and continuous quality improvement of the department and support the development and implementation of the plans.
  • To assist the Senior Nursing Officer in overseeing the day-to-day operation, ensure established quality standards are met and promote excellence in customer relations.
  • To collaborate and communicate with patients, families and other health care providers in the delivery of patient care.
  • To supervise subordinates in performing duties and evaluate staff performance.
  • To undertake special projects and other duties assigned by the Hospital Management.

Requirements

  • Holder of Hong Kong Registered Nurse license and valid practicing certificate.
  • For NO II / NO - at least 8 / 10 years of post-qualification experience in Paediatric ward, preferably with 2 / 3 years of experience in managerial roles.
  • Preferably holding valid certificate in BLS / PALS.
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and organization skills.
  • Presentable, self-initiative, independent and pleasant personality.
  • Good command in written and spoken Chinese and English.
  • Computer literate, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
