Software Engineer

Responsibilities

Requirements engineering through discussion with end users

Apply data mining and machine learning techniques on existing data banks

Deploy machine learning models on biological data

Work closely with Bioinformatics Scientists and Researchers.

Analyze and maintain existing software applications

Design highly scalable, testable code on cloud

Perform routine code review and fix programming bugs proactively

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field is required.

Self-motivated and passionate.

Able to work independently to meet multiple project deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fluent in both English & Chinese.

Have a focus on high-quality and best practices in coding.

Hands-on coding experience in machine learning or data mining

Fresh graduates are welcome.
