We are looking for an individual who shares the same values as us to take up the position of Assistant Manager - Merchandising.

Here is what you need to know about this role :

Lead and supervise the team to ensure all orders are properly follow through and meet customers’ budget requirements and quality

Manage the entire product development and order execution processes with vendors, customers, and internal parties to meet KPI

Build a strong local and regional vendor network to support business growth

Establish vendor strategies, product costing / placement, manage vendor relationships and production oversight to optimize performance

Ensure products meet established standards for safety and quality in alignment with customer sourcing objectives

Maintain strong business relationship with clients

Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery

Develop, mentor and train the team, provide appropriate direction and environment needed for success

Perform other duties as assigned by Management

You might be a good fit if you have...

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related disciplines

Over 7 years merchandising experience for Toys or Hardgoods, with at least 2-3 years at supervisory level

Familiar with EU toys market and product compliance requirement

Strong leadership and people management skills

Excellent communication skills with overseas customers and vendors are essential

Well organized individual with strong problem-solving skills

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook

Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin

Occasional travel is required
