Purpose of the position : We have served youth and education institutions for over 70 years, growing and nurturing communities which promote connectivity and self-expression amongst students.

That is why SCMP Learn will continue to expand the reach of our student community platforms and enhance the education resources of our offering as we seek to unlock the potential in every student to effect social responsibility and impact as they explore the horizon of possibilities ahead.
In this role, you will : Excited and fully aligned with the vision and mission of the student business, the lead of the SCMP Learn will supervise a team composed of sales, marketing, channel development, and customer service to penetrate into students (Age 6-18) segment through : Developing long-term business strategy of the student business and owning the P&L of the student business in SCMP Defining the value propositions and innovating on the business model of SCMP’s content products (news and learning program) and brands (Young Post, Young Post Spark and Posties) for students Structuring and leading a high-performing business team to achieve the growth of the business and manage the top and bottom lines of the business Collaborating closely with Editorial team and product team to achieve the mission Building SCMP’s brand and thought leadership in the education sector in Hong Kong and beyond Building loyal parents, students, educators and teachers communities in the industry Skills and Experience that will lead to success : You have 10+ years of relevant experience in media, education, edu-tech, technology companies You are a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and a thought leader You have substantial experience leading a multifunctional team and to build products that fit market’s needs You have substantial experience in achieving visionary goals You have substantial experience in managing various stakeholders and delivering results within tight timeline You are entrepreneurial and thrive in a high freedom, high responsibility environment You are a team player and care your team’s personal development You are digital savvy, data-driven and customer focused You are passionate about Education Industry and genuinely interested in nurturing next generation You are native in English with exceptional oral and written communication skills Fluency in oral and written Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin) is a plus Work location will be at Causeway Bay office.
