Overall purpose and objectives

The Business Coordinator will support sales and customer engagement initiatives across the Greater China (GC) and Southeast Asia (SEA) regions, ensuring smooth coordination of pre-sales and post-sales activities tailored to local needs and business practices.

This role serves as a vital link between lead generation and customer success. It combines the core responsibilities of a Sales Development Representative (SDR)—including prospecting, lead qualification, and outreach—with customer support and enablement tasks that enhance ongoing client relationships. The goal is to drive new business opportunities while keeping existing clients engaged and supported.

Main tasks and duties

Sales Prospecting and Pipeline Development

Conduct outbound sales activities (calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach) to generate and qualify leads

Attend marketing events and network to collect business cards and identify new opportunities

Conduct discovery calls to assess prospect needs and align them with solution offerings

Nurture leads through follow-ups and keep prospects warm until they are ready for handover to Account Executives

Provide support in customizing region-specific sales materials and presentations for the Greater China and Southeast Asia markets, including gathering localized success stories, use cases, and ensuring language and cultural relevance.

Assist in pre-sales activities such as preparing presentation decks, coordinating with internal teams for product demonstrations and coordinating client communications to ensure continuity in the sales process.

Customer Engagement & Support

Serve as a backup for Customer Success Managers (CSMs) by assisting with customer communications, including creating support tickets, sending reminders, and issuing usage notifications to existing clients to enhance engagement and ensure product adoption

Sales & Marketing Enablement

Prepare sales presentations, Business Review meeting (BRM) materials, and marketing decks tailored to client needs

Consolidate local success stories and industry-specific use cases

Assist in collecting and drafting documentation required for RFP submissions

Conduct market research and build success case studies to support business development and marketing initiatives

Log and maintain detailed records of client interactions from sales calls and meetings in Salesforce CRM to ensure accurate pipeline tracking and reliable reporting insights

Administrative & Documentation Support

Assist Account Executives and Customer Success Managers in drafting contracts, proposals, and addendums

Maintain organized records of client interactions, proposals, and submitted materials

Prepare an accurate sales forecast reports and CRM Management

Further tasks

General requirements

2-3 years of sales operations / program management experience

High aptitude for technology with strong knowledge and understanding of Excel, CRM’s, project management and communication tools. Previous use of Marketing automation tools and Salesforce.com an advantage.

Strong analytic skills with high accuracy and attention to detail required.

Excellent communications skills to enable cross cultural communications

A fast-thinking, high-energy individual with a sense of humor and ability to work with a wide range of personalities will thrive in this role

Software as a Service experience preferred

Excellent English, Mandarian language skills
