Works Supervisor I / II (Landscaping) (Ref. 250000TC) (Closing date : May 20, 2025)

The appointee will be responsible for (a) supervising project works; (b) leading and supervising internal staff to carry out landscaping maintenance activities and planting works; (c) performing regular inspection on landscape; (d) liaising with stakeholders about landscaping matters; and (e) carrying out frequent outdoor works, and performing emergency or any other duties as assigned. He / She may be required to work overtime, on shifts and on Saturdays / Sundays / public holidays when necessary.

Applicants should have (i) a Diploma or Higher Certificate preferably in Biology, Environmental Science, Geography Ecology, or Landscape Architecture disciplines; OR 5 passes in HKCEE / HKDSE including English and Mathematics with at least 5 years’ relevant site supervising experience; (ii) at least 3 years’ supervisory experience subsequent to fulfilling (i) above, in operation and maintenance of landscaping field; (iii) the ability to prepare tenders and reports etc. in both English and Chinese; (iv) good computer skills; and (v) good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under tight schedules. Possession of additional qualifications in Horticulture, Arboriculture or Landscape Management, knowledge of AutoCAD or valid Hong Kong Driving Licence (Class 2), will be an advantage. Those with less but at least 1 year’s relevant post-qualification experience may be considered for appointment as Works Supervisor II. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
