As part of the Data Solution team, your role involves assisting the business in constructing a scalable data platform. You will aid in extracting valuable insights from big data sets and provide support for the business to carry out sophisticated analytics and machine learning.

Job Accountabilities :

Design, execute, and optimize data pipelines on the Unified Data Platform.

Create and manage reporting dashboards.

Assist in the transition from a legacy Data Warehouse Platform to the Unified Data Platform.

Handle and administer data inquiries from business users.

Assist with daily business operations on both the legacy Data Warehouse Platform and Unified Data Platform.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science / Data Engineering, or other related fields.

At least 2 years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.

Proficiency in ETL / ELT, Data Management, and Data Engineering using SQL and Python.

Practical experience with Azure cloud data services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Power BI.

Experience with IBM DataStage, IBM Cognos, Qlik Sense, Data Robot is beneficial.

Experience in a project involving data science or machine learning is advantageous.

Fluency in both Cantonese and English.

Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration with a global team.
