Assist in the preparation of agreements for execution by IBHK and its clients;
Filing of documents and organising files / records;
Conducting legal research;
Assisting with investigating disputes and regulatory investigations;
Preparing written reports;
Maintaining legal / case files (for example, maintaining a register of legal contract amendments);
Assisting with drafting documents;
Managing administrative dialog with internal stakeholders and external counsel;
invoice management; and,
Ad hoc tasks include collecting / collating documents from IBHK’s internal record systems and supporting special / ad-hoc projects.
Requirements :
University graduate or student in a reputable university or career paralegal with a demonstrable track record
Depending on academic qualifications, at least three years of related working experience in a law firm or with an in-house legal function. Experience within the financial services industry would be an advantage (for example, broker, bank, insurer, or regulator);
Mature, self-motivated, and independent;
Good interpersonal and communication skills;
Highly organized and detail-oriented;
Responsible, trustworthy with a positive attitude and a good team player;
Proficiency in MS Office applications; and,
Excellent written and spoken English and strong Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) language skills are advantages.
