DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS

Executive Officer ()

The Department of Mathematics is now seeking a highly motivated person to provide administrative support to the Department.

Responsibilities :

Assist in Programme administration and student-related matters;
Assist in Programme admission;
Coordinating and organising activities / events hosted by Programmes and Department;
Provide administrative support to Programmes and Department; and
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Programme Directors and Department Head.

Requirements :

A recognised degree with at least 2 years of relevant and solid work experience preferably in higher education institutions;

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);

Meticulousness good interpersonal and problem-solving skills attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility;

Being self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team; and

Proficiency in computer applications including MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Chinese Word are required.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
