Conduct research and studies to support risk assessment on companies in East Asia Region (Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea, etc.) which may have impact on credit policy towards those companies
Grasp updated information on policy changes, macro economies and industries in East Asia, and present relevant information to the management and clients in the East Asia region
Support East Asian branches and business units’ business promotion by researching and analyzing government policies as well as complex economic, industry and financial data
Keep abreast of the industry and economic trends of assigned countries
Contact customers, major corporations, financial institutions, government-related institutions, analysts, economists and consultants etc. for information collection
Requirements :
Bachelor degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting or equivalent with sound accounting knowledge and financial analysis skill
At least 5 years' experience in credit, company or industry research, preferably with petrochemical sector exposure
Related certification / accreditation such as ECF would be an advantage / preferred
Excellent command of both written and spoken English, knowledge in Mandarin, Korean or Japanese language will be a plus
Analytical with strong business acumen and excellent problem solving skills
Good planning & organization skills
A team player; able to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
