THE COMPANY :

  • Japanese listed multinational toys company
  • We design, develop, manufacture and market our own brand toys products
  • Main products : hard toys and soft toys
  • Hong Kong : trading office
  • Dongguan : engineering office
  • Market : Japan, SE Asia & worldwide
  • We are looking for   ASSISTANT ENGINEERING MANAGER   - with details as follows :

THE JOB :

  • Report to Asst General Manager
  • Work with vendors and US team on the product design to hit the target cost.
  • Carry out product development, engineering, and debug to meet product specifications and aesthetic requirements.
  • Cost negotiation.
  • Provide technical support and debug. Engineering
  • Provide support to internal groups on any development or production issues.
  • Monitor the schedule and provide on-site support from development start to OBS.
  • Provide manufacturing support as needed after Production start.
  • Support for production facilities including overseas.
  • Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years in the TOYS industry.
  • Has knowledge in the (Hard / Soft Toys) industry standards for different countries.
  • Able to work from concept drawing through development until production.
  • Communications skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • 3-4 days per week work in Dongguan Changan office
  • Frequent trips to Vietnam & Indonesisa
