Responsibilities
- Supervise SPFI Team members in the handling of listing applications of structured products; post listing monitoring (such as handling ofplaints & unusual trades); issuers'pliance of Listing Rules & best practices; and rmend appropriate actions.
- Lead policy development / enhancement of the Hong Kong listing regime in relation to structured products including market consultation and presentation to the Listingmittee of the Stock Exchange
- Study feasibility and implications of new products or new initiatives from Listing Rule perspective
- Develop internal policies and workflow procedures including system enhancements to improve the operational efficiency
- Plan and manage SPFI projects
- Liaise with other functions in HKEX on operational / system implementation of listing-related initiatives with cross-functional impact
- Liaise and develop effective working relationships with other regulatory organizations
Qualification and Requirements :
Knowledge & Qualification
University degree, preferably in Business, Financial Engineering, Economics or Law (admission as a solicitor in Hong Kong)A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in the finance industry, of which at least 5 years at a management / supervisory levelRequire strong market experience, knowledge and understanding (gained from international law firms or within control functions in investment banks or well-established financial organizations) of legal, operations, regulations and risk management considerations of the listed structured / derivatives products in Hong Kong and / or overseas marketsAdvanced knowledge of Listing Rules applicable to structured products is preferredFamiliarity with debt capital markets (DCM) with good market and product knowledge on debt issuances in Hong Kong and international DCM is a plusSkills &petencies
