Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, the successful candidate will be responsible for :
- Handling asset management matters, including but not limited to fund formation as well as post-formation maintenance for a range of asset management products (including SFC authorized funds, ETFs, hedge funds, FoF funds, QDII and RQFII investment related matters etc)
- Handling discretionary management account related matters and negotiation of IMAs
- Providing legal advice and daily support to the asset management business units within CICC
- Providing support to Senior Legal Counsel and handling other assignments designated by Senior Legal Counsel from time to time
Skills and Abilities
At least three years of post-qualification experience expected, preferably gained from international law firms, asset management firms or investment banksSolid legal knowledge and experience in handling asset management related mattersGood drafting andmunication skillsStrong sense of responsibility, diligence, integrity and professional ethicsFluent in written and spoken English & ChineseGood team playerQualifications
Law degree from a recognized law schoolQualified in UK, Hong Kong, US, Singapore or othermon law jurisdictionsDisclaimer
