Job Responsibilities :
Manage the monthly closing process from preparation, review to posting of journal entries. Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
Perform analytical reviews on income statement and balance sheet in a critical manner
Plan and prepare the audited financial statements in accordance with the local accounting standard (IFRS, HKFRS)
Ensure accounting books are prepared according to the local accounting standards while maintaining reconciliations with the US GAAP
Assist in the enhancement and establishment of accounting policies and procedures with compliance to local, US, and company’s internal requirements
Establishes and maintains relationship with audit. Ensures all accounting principles are adhered to, and provides documentation for operational and financial audits. Addresses audit outcomes on a timely basis.
Maintain proper internal controls and compliance for the region conforming to SOX requirements and documentations
Assist in ad-hoc assignments
Requirements :
Degree holder with a major in accounting or finance discipline
Qualified member of a recognized Institute of Certified Public Accountants
Minimum 5 years managerial experience with Big Four background and substantial regional exposure gained in a multinational organization
Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and HKFRS; SOX experience preferred
Hands-on experience in Oracle R12, Oracle Cloud and FCCS
Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Good interpersonal skills, able to interact with other departments and regional offices, US Headquarters, and external parties
Assertive, proactive, detailed and results oriented
Critical and independent thinking with strong logical and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problems
