Job description

The applicant must possess :

with Hong Kong Mobile Aerial Work Platform Association (AWP) or The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) or equivalent MEWP instructor academic qualification;
with recognised MEWP vendor and suppliers training qualification;
a minimum of 7 years’ solid work experience in relevant trade;
conversant with latest 4S technical knowledge and 5S field management experience in construction industry or training related areas would be an advantage;
a high level of integrity and a strong sense of responsibility; and
a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Applicants who do not possess the required qualifications and / or experience may be considered for other positions within the organisation.)

Duties include :

Assisting Supervising Instructor to organise all necessary activities for programme operation at training ground including administration works and safety inspection etc.;

to conduct MEWP training course practical training, mock up operation and examination;

to assist in the preparation of training programmes;

to prepare schedules and estimates for the purchase of consumable materials, tools, plants and equipment for the relevant trade and to check the quality of purchased materials, tools and equipment upon delivery;

to implement all necessary safety precautions;

to be responsible for the overall supervision of students, maintaining discipline and preparation of report on the conduct, learning attitude and progress of students periodically and as required;

to carry out maintenance of work tools and equipment for the purpose of training at workshops or training grounds, and to monitor the repair and maintenance work as required; and

to carry out any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director from time to time.
