Job descriptionHigher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent 2+ years working experience in Unix / Linux administration, with hands-on experience in Oracle / MySQL / MS SQL is highly preferable Knowledge in SAN storage, VMware / KVM / Oracle VM and backup tools Exposure in web services such as Apache / Tomcat is an advantage Good in both written and spoken English & Chinese
Description :
Our client is a FT500 IT&T firm with branches across the globe and now looking for potential incumbents to join their team.
- Responsible for Linux system setup, configuration, server patching and migration
- Monitor system performance and perform troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Prepare technical documentation
- Work closely with vendors and application development team for system support and change management
- Provide 2nd level support and handle adhoc projects as required
