Job description

Responsibilities :

Review and identify needs for learning and development programs with our business units and functions.

Leads, directs, evaluates, and develops teams / team of training professionals to ensure that the KONE’s training and development strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets.

Develops, delivers and evaluates training programs and curriculum so that the knowledge, skills, and performance of employees meet the organization’s current and future requirements.

Collaborates with functional and operational managers and HR to develop and implement training plans that are appropriate for their business needs, but consistent with the KONE’s overall training strategy.

Advise appropriate programs according to our internal training offerings or source external training sessions to meet the identified training needs.

Evaluate effectiveness of learning / training sessions & trainers, suggest and implement improvement actions.

Ensure learning / training materials and records according to internal specification and updated in our learning system.

Provide guidelines / teach our trainers & managers on extracting learning records for monitoring completion of learning programs and identifying participants. Provide ad-hoc training reports if needed.

Provides orientation and training on new course materials through the selection of appropriate training aids.

Evaluate new joiners’ competence with their managers to ensure they are job ready.

Maintain strong connections with other training and / or HR colleagues within KONE to share best practices and to understand current and future trends.

Take initiative to understand and explore new training methods.

Perform ad hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications :

Must be either a Hong Kong permanent resident or a citizen of mainland China.

Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or related disciplines

3 year or above relevant experience

Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Self-motivated, proactive & detail-minded

Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Chinese word processing

Knowledge of field and technical training is an advantage

Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Specialist, Learning and Development

Compensation and Benefits :

The company provides either accommodation or a monthly housing allowance of HKD 10,000

12-day or more Annual Leave, 18-day Company Holidays, Birthday Leave, Overtime / Standby Allowance if applicable, Discretionary Bonus, Company Activities, and all benefits in accordance with Hong Kong employment regulations.

Medical insurance for inpatient and outpatient Services, with free insurance for one dependent (i.e., spouse or unmarried child).
