Scrum Master (ITSD - EDAP - CC)

The Department

The Service Delivery Department is responsible for designing and delivering the Runway 2, “IT Digital Transformation Programme”. In addition, the department is responsible for the delivery of application solutions including Finance, HR, CRM and Enterprise Data Warehouse systems for the Club’s business portfolios and managing the IT Shenzhen delivery arm.

The Job

Be accountable to the Program Manager, Programme Director, Head of Department and the overall program / project for the production of deliverables within agreed timescale, quality and budget

Manage multiple scrum teams simultaneously and ensure they follow the agile methodologies to deliver quality products

Continuously improve the agile processes and practices used by the scrum teams

Coach and mentor scrum team members on the HKJC agility framework, agile principles and practices

Facilitate scrum events as specified in the HKJC Agility Framework, ensuring that all are positive, productive, and kept within the time

Collaborate with Product Owners and the scrum teams to define and refine the backlog

Identify and remove any impediments that may prevent the scrum teams from achieving their goal

Work with the development teams to ensure focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of

Monitor and report progress of scrum teams

Ensure adherence to the HKJC Agility Framework

As a liaison between technical and non-technical departments, and communicates with other developers, product managers, and technical support

Identify and manage relationships through effective communication with scrum team including third-parties and act the primary point-of-

Helping those outside the Scrum Team understand which of their interactions with Scrum Team are

About You

At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment

• Experience managing multiple scrum teams simultaneously
• Scrum Master Certification ( Scaled Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc)
• Experience in working with offshore development teams is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Cantonese is required
