Job Posting : ABOUT YOUR ROLE :

The job holder will handle the trim sourcing activities from development to production across NA / EU / AP markets. He / she will help to execute the trim sourcing strategy for Kontoor, including the trim supplier matrix, lead time, material supply forecast, and capacity reservation according to Kontoor's business needs. He / she will follow up on the saving target and achieve the trim saving / bidding initiatives, working with the cross-function departments to ensure the trim sourcing meets Kontoor's requirements as well as the brand's needs. He / she will also collaborate and support trim material innovation / sustainability / capabilities through supplier research and partnership.

Geographic Scope : This role will handle trim sourcing in South Asia, China, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Africa, with the most active involvement with trim suppliers in Asia. It will also work with the Brand partner in the US / EU / AP and the sourcing team.

Business Scope : Product development and production management for NA / EU / AP market (approx. $60 - $70 million trim spend in 2023).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE :

Functions :

• Implement sourcing strategy for Kontoor Brands under the business units, factoring in footprint movements, supply models, lead time, brand, and sourcing needs with meeting deadlines.
• Build trim library and database with clear details.
• Execute annual trim cost savings targets, drive initiatives, track progress, and report savings. Monitor trim material price trend movement and always seek trim cost-saving opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally in selection of global and local suppliers and materials that support material and manufacturing strategies and Product Development objectives.
• Collaborate and support material innovation / sustainability / capabilities through supplier research and partnership in collaboration with NA / EU / AP Brand Development and Innovation Teams
• Partner with functional departments on topics such as Quality Testing, RSL, Compliance, Material sourcing policy, to drive Kontoor standards and requirements are met within the material supply requirement.
