We are currently seeking a Data Privacy Consultant (IT) to join our ranks and support our F500 clients
Requirements :
- 5-10 years of relevant experience - Privacy professionals with extensive experience in IT Security or Cybersecurity, or experience with privacy responsibilities within IT or IT Compliance is advantageous
- An understanding of regulatory requirements is required
Key responsibilities include :
Evaluate and investigate incidents / potential incidents to determine necessary notifications (internal or external) and identify causes, such as human error or misconduct, by conducting thorough interviews with involved individuals.Advise on and implement technical and organizational strategies to prevent future incidents, while examining and resolving cases involving customer data use and alleged privacy violations in collaboration with the customer service team.Establish, review, and provide training on document retention timelines and data classification policies to ensure compliance and best practices within business units.Guide IT departments in adhering to cybersecurity regulations and conduct regular data monitoring programs to assess and enhance the effectiveness of privacy controls across the organization.Compensation, Benefits & Location :
