About Your Company

Our client is a leading investment firm with a strong track record in fundamental equity strategies. Known for its rigorous research process and collaborative culture, the firm manages concentrated, high-conviction portfolios across global markets. They are seeking an accomplished Portfolio Manager to lead a low-net, long / short equity portfolio focused on global industrials or healthcare

About your role

• Lead a L / S book with a primary focus on :
• Industrials (e.g., machinery, aerospace, automation, infrastructure) or
• Healthcare (e.g., pharma, biotech, medtech, healthcare services).
• Generate alpha through bottom-up stock selection, thematic bets, and catalyst-driven trades while adhering to low-net exposure guidelines.
• Conduct deep fundamental research, including financial modeling, management meetings, and supply chain / regulatory analysis.
• Partner with sector analysts to refine ideas and optimize portfolio construction (position sizing, hedging, risk / reward assessment).
• Clearly articulate investment theses and performance drivers to senior leadership and investors.
