Job description

Reporting to Head of Operations, we are looking for candidates specializing in daily payment transactions processing and payment related projects implementation.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure all payment transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner, and to ensure compliance with all standard operations procedures, regulatory requirements & guidelines;
  • Monitor the smoothness of transaction execution and exceptional cases handling;
  • Collaborate with other operations teams and stakeholders regarding the payment; services / operations enhancement, projects and process automation;
  • Support other operations functions, e.g. settlement, loans etc.;
  • Would have a chance to support the new investment product development (e.g. equities, fixed income etc.);
  • Develop and execute operations standard and process for banking operations team;
  • Prepare MIS reports, management and regulatory reports;
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements :

  • A university degree holder or above in Business Administrative / Mathematics / Finance or other relevant disciplines;
  • At least 5 years banking operations experiences in payments departments;
  • Solid knowledge with FPS, RTGS, SWIFT, SAA and related payment systems. Experience in interacting with the key local clearing organizations would be an advantage;
  • Experience in regulatory projects related to HKICL, HKMA and SWIFT and the related backend system enhancement (e.g. HKICL drill test, HKICL FPS release, SWIFT ISO20022)
  • Familiar with investment products, settlement process flow, operations procedures and the related regulatory requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skill, self-driven with strong sense of responsibility and capability to work independently
  • Proficient in written, spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in Mandarin speaking is necessary
