The Role

• The appointee will join a small collaborative IT team to ensure our mission-critical services and platforms remain reliable secure and compliant with university policies. Key responsibilities include : Design develop and maintain databases and web applications (including APIs) and integrate with institutional systems.
• Provide hands-on technical support for staff and students : Windows / macOS desktops and laptops and common classroom / office applications.
• Server and network installation configuration and maintenance; account and identity management; backup monitoring and patching.
• Administer and update CMS-driven websites; ensure accessibility security performance and responsive design.
• Occasional Saturday and evening duties will be required.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
