Research Assistant (25260507)

We are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Research Assistant in the Department of Chemistry.

Responsibilities:

The appointee will assist the project leader in:

• Conducting research and development related to sustainable systems creation;
• Assist in the design and perform of experiments; and
• Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor in relation to the project.

The appointee will participate in research as part of an interdisciplinary team of researchers in the areas of Sustainable Chemistry and the Circular Economy.

Requirements:

• A bachelor s degree or above in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Materials Science, or a related discipline;
• Preferably with extensive laboratory experience (e.g., participation in a practical final-year project);
• Self-motivated, well-organised, and meticulous; and
• A passion for research and sustainable development is desirable.

Selected candidates may be assigned to work on knowledge transfer activities.
