Product Design Lead

About the Job :

We are seeking a Product Design Lead to shape and elevate the design function at Hex Trust. This role goes beyond creating clean interfaces - it is about driving the vision and strategy for user experience, leading a small but growing team, and ensuring that design excellence is embedded into every stage of product development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to create a best-in-class interface that meets the unique needs of institutional clients. Your experience with crypto platforms such as Coinbase Prime, Bybit, OKX, Hashkey, or Binance will be invaluable in understanding industry standards and innovating beyond them.

You will report directly to the Chief Engineering Officer and work as a key partner in defining how design contributes to Hex Trust’s mission.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the design function : Provide direction and mentorship to product designers, elevating design standards and fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
• Own the end-to-end design process : From research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and final delivery, ensuring consistent design quality across all products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally : Work with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to align design decisions with business and technical requirements.
• Drive design strategy : Define design principles, guidelines, and systems that scale across multiple products and platforms.
• Champion user experience : Conduct and leverage user research, usability testing, and customer feedback to inform product improvements and innovation.
• Hands-on delivery : Create and review wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and UI designs, while ensuring timely execution and alignment with brand and product vision.
• Advocate for design : Represent design in key discussions, making the case for user-centric decisions at all levels of the company.
