Assistant Engineer (Civil / Structural / Geotechnical)

The Vacancy

Job Description

• To be responsible for the quality of the Organisation’s Products and Processes and for complying with the requirements of the Organisation’s Quality Management System.
• Collecting data for studies and design.
• Carrying out engineering calculations for studies and design.
• Preparing sketches based on the results of his studies and design.
• Checking drawings produced by draughtsmen ensuring the drawings to be in accordance with the studies and design.
• Assisting preparation of project programmes.
• Assisting preparation of Bill of Quantities and taking-off quantities.
• Assisting estimation of cost of works.
• Drafting reports on the finding of studies.
• Drafting correspondence on matter in relation to data collection, design, contract administration and coordination with various parties.
• Assisting site inspection and supervision outside office.
