About the Role :
One of our clients, a prominent international law firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate to join their  Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor or someone with up to one year of PQE to work on high-profile transactions within a leading international law firm.
You will be involved in a broad range of ECM matters including IPOs, secondary offerings, rights issues, private placements, and other capital markets transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in advising clients on ECM transactions, including regulatory compliance, disclosure obligations, and listing requirements.
- Draft and review transaction documents such as prospectuses, underwriting agreements, shareholder circulars, and board resolutions.
- Conduct legal due diligence and assist in preparing reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Liaise with clients, regulators, and other professional advisors to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory developments in capital markets.
Requirements :
Qualified solicitor (NQ to 1-year PQE), ideally with prior exposure to ECM or corporate transactions during training or post-qualification.Strong academic background and training from a reputable law firm.Excellent drafting, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.A genuine interest in capital markets and corporate finance.Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is essential.
