Chair Professor / Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor / Research Assistant Professor in Finance (25260290)

The Department is inviting applications for various academic positions in Finance. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in Fintech.

Candidates must hold, or expect to hold, a PhD degree. Applicants for Research Assistant Professor should have strong potential in research and teaching. Applicants for Chair Professor / Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor positions should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research and teaching and be willing to work collaboratively with colleagues. Appointees are expected to teach in various programmes (undergraduate, taught postgraduate, and PhD programmes), conduct high-quality research work, and supervise postgraduate theses.

The appointment is offered on a tenure track. The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of up to three years, starting from a mutually agreed date. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. Outstanding candidates at Associate Professor or above rank may be considered for tenure on appointment.

The remuneration package includes retirement/gratuity benefits, annual leave, medical and dental scheme, monthly cash allowance/staff quarters, and relocation allowance wherever appropriate.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
