Purpose of the Position: The purpose of this Data Analyst position is to work with different departments & teams to understand their data needs and provide skillful support on data analysis for various stakeholders on Google Analytics and various data projects. We are looking for a data-passionate candidate who has strong data analytical skills with large amounts of data (expert SQL is a must), good knowledge on Google Analytics skill, excellent communication skill, and experience in managing projects across multiple teams. In this role, you will: Deliver reporting, and dashboard to cross-functional management teams across all of SCMP group's properties Work closely across multiple teams to understand their information needs and ensure strategy and developed solutions fit evolving needs Perform ad-hoc analysis on multiple data sources to deliver insights and actionable recommendations Own and manage multiple initiatives to develop and automate tracking mechanisms to measure multi-channel performance both regularly and on an ad-hoc basis Collaborate with engineering to shape and drive the tactical and strategic development of data infrastructure, dashboards, reporting, and analytical applications Work closely with the data engineering and the development team to build ETL pipelines and data marts for both analytics and dashboards Manage data vendors that ensure they provide quality data Skills and Experience that will lead to success: Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics or other relevant fields.

At least 1 year of analytical experience with high data volume environments, preferably in software, internet, media, or telecom industry Strong data visualization experience in building / automating dashboards by Tableau and/or Google Looker Studio Solid experience in writing complex analytical queries in SQL Knowledge of web analytics tools such as GA Universal and Google Analytics 4 Demonstrated experience and strong track record in developing and delivering reporting and analysis to senior management in a demanding business environment Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and drive complex operational and strategic initiatives Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team cooperation and build solid working relationships with peers and senior leadership.

Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation in English.

Work location will be at Causeway Bay office.
