The Role
Ever since, we have expanded rapidly across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region in Hong Kong, Macau, China, Singapore, Thailand, India, Malaysia, South Korea and continue to have ambitious growth plans in new markets and omni channel development for 2025 and beyond.
Senior Supply Planner APAC drives regional supply planning excellence to ultimately optimise the inventory and service levels. A key operational role within a rapidly expanding luxury beauty brand, Senior Supply Planner APAC Manger will liaise with global supply planning to build out the extension arm of supply planning team in region. It is an impactful and essential role to develop the appreciation of local markets and deliver results from a close understanding of regional priorities and strategies.
We are looking for someone with demonstrated supply planning expertise, who is not experienced in getting results but also in embedding supply planning best practices across functions. This individual will be a process owner who has excellent attention to details, great analytical skills to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into the operation, who can also work strategically to overcome long-term challenges in an exceptionally fast-growing business.
Role Accountabilities
- Manage regional MOC targets based on ABC sku and transit consideration. Share regional stock needs to global supply chain in monthly cycle.
- Monitor forecast changes and communicate updates to global supply planning.
- Weekly analysis of monthly sell-in pattens against forecast and adjustments on supply planning as necessary.
- Manage a complex portfolio of products, including reformulation with high level of promotional volumes and alternate customer channels, and / or a high degree of demand seasonality.
- Fease additional regional sell-in opportunities withing blocked horizon.
- Fill rate projections for rolling 3 to 6M based on stock confirmation to support demand plan.
- Identify supply gaps to forecast and working with global to mitigate and reduce, and with regional teams to find alternatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the supply planning and stock balancing processes and systems.
- Work closely with demand planning and logistics team to identify forecast deviation and or supply chain constraints with the goal to minimize out of stocks and prevent the build of excess and obsolete inventory.
- Ensure on-time availability of product and develop action plans or alternatives for delayed products.
- Coordinate with NPD controller to ensure that new launch issues are incorporated into the S&OP agenda.
- Collaborate with global supply planning team to support consistent regional & global ways of working.
- Working closely with commercial stakeholders to support stock holding and exceptional requests.
- Maintain expertise in supply planning systems to ensure consistency and development of the functions (people, process, and systems, tools) as the business grows.
- Assist Supply Chain regional lead in the execution of supply chain projects.
Reporting Relationships
Reporting into the Senior Demand and Supply Planning Manager APACKey Selection Criteria
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain / logistics, or other related field preferred.At least 6+ years of Supply Chain Planning related experience.Strong analytical, communication and organization skills required.Excellent in both written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Organised, detail-orientated, numerate, analytical and good problem-solver.Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptive to new situation and changes in direction.Exceptional Excel skills to model data into dashboard, someone IT savvy who is able to bring experience of improved information sharing both internally and externally would be a plus.Strong Team player, an entrepreneurial flair, real commerciality, great relationship building abilities and relationships.Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is required.
