Manager, IT Project Management (ITSD - Corporate Systems - JC)

The Department

The Service Delivery Department is responsible for designing and delivering the Runway 2, “IT Digital Transformation Programme”. In addition, the department is responsible for the delivery of application solutions including Finance, HR, CRM and Enterprise Data Warehouse systems for the Club’s business portfolios and managing the IT Shenzhen delivery arm.

The Job

Conducting feasibility studies to evaluate or pilot new business-enabling technology. Coordinate with Project Manager, technical teams and consultant to evaluate potential technical solutions.

Gather business requirement, perform business analysis to deliver the requirement specification with detailed business use cases and high-level functional design.

Working collaboratively with Procurement team on preparing documents throughout the procurement process on both purchasing new software / services, or renewal of existing license.

Prepare overview of multiple projects with precise and presentable information on budgeting, project milestones and project spending. Communicating with Project Managers to ensure projects are fully comply to HKJC’s Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and all project commitments are met.

Innovatively seek and explorer for potential solutions with reference to industrial standard. Comprehend the business process and requirement.

Provide support for the production systems. Managing and coordinating with vendors efficiently to provide BAU application support.

Inspire the team to bring forward ideas and solutions to empower the people to accelerate for business success.

About You

• University degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience in business analysis or systems analysis, design, software development and support experience.
• Experience in business requirement gathering
• Experience in IT budgeting process and project status reporting
• Professional programme management certification (e.g., Project Management Professional or Prince2) is mandatory. (Expired certificate will not be accepted)
• Must demonstrate good knowledge of commercial and contractual issues
• Proficiency in different Product analysis tool
• Willingness to embrace new ideas and learn continuously with a positive attitude.
• A result-oriented and self-motivated mind-set; ability of multi-tasking
• Ability to communicate at all levels within organisation (IT teams, business users) and external vendors.
• Strong ability in problem troubleshooting and diagnosis.
• Proficiency in writing, presentation and communication skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and other software development and documentation tools used in DevOps.
• Experience in different cloud technology such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or other Cloud platforms.
• Knowledge in business case writing, business workshop facilitation, processing mapping, customer experience & journey or change management.
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Knowledge of Sustainability / ESG and Property Facilities Management / Asset Management systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge in business intelligence, data visualization (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is an advantage.
