Job Description

  • Assists QEHS manager & BL Environmental Manager in all aspects and activities related to Environmental Monitoring & Compliance of the Facility
  • Implements & maintains integrated management system (incl. ISO9001 / 14001 / 45001 / 31000)
  • Conducts and coordinate internal and external monitoring inspection and audit programs
  • Collects, processes and review all environmental monitoring data, including quality of the data and prepare all required reports and documentation
  • Conducts environmental compliance and awareness promotional activities
  • Implement training programmes for quality &  environmental compliance & procedures for employees and contractors

Qualifications

  • Degree or above in Environmental Studies / Environmental Engineering or equivalent;
  • At least 5 years experience in Environmental management in an Operating facility ;
  • Familiar with Environmental Legal requirements in Hong Kong, including EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) process and Specified Process Licence under APCO (Air Pollution Control Ordinance)
  • Fluent in Chinese and English (Spoken and written)
  • Proficient in Putonghua speaking

    Requirements :

  • Familiar with ISO standards is an advantage
  • Membership of Environmental Institution, e.g. Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals (HKIQEP), Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), Royal Society of Chemistry, or classification as a Chartered Environmentalist, or a member of any other institution of equivalent professional standing;
  • Excellent communicator who can clearly and effectively communicate with clients and other stakeholders
  • Agile, self motivated and a good team player
