Our Legal and Contracts Department is responsible for managing the Group’s legal and contractual affairs across all regions where Aedas operates. We are seeking a high-calibre candidate for the position of Assistant Legal Counsel / Legal and Contracts Administrator. Responsibilities :
- Report to the Head of Legal and Contracts and the Legal and Contracts Manager, providing support to various departments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies during the review and execution of contracts.
- Advise project teams and other departments on contractual and legal matters pertinent to the Group’s business.
- Draft, prepare, review, and lead negotiations on the terms and conditions of all types of contractual documents relevant to the Group’s operations.
- Assist project teams with the recovery of professional fees.
- Support litigation and alternative dispute resolution efforts.
Requirements :
A law degree from any jurisdiction, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.Professional qualifications (such as qualified lawyer, legal executive, or MCIArb) are advantageous.Familiarity with PRC laws and regulations is preferred.Strong legal drafting, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.Competent in MS Office and Chinese typing is essential.Experience in preparing documents for legal proceedings is an advantage.Aedas provides opportunities for long-term career development with an expanding international practice.
