Design Engineer – Communications (Ref : 250000HG)

Responsibilities

• Undertake design tasks assigned on a wide range of Communications Systems, such as Radio, Passenger Information System, CCTV and Video Analytic System, Telephone System, Digital Advertising and Internet of Things covering asset renewal, modification and enhancement in various Railway lines
• Prepare contracts and assist in tendering for the works, provide comments and assessment on the project design submissions, attend site surveys, test and commissioning and co-ordinate interfaces with other sections / departments
• Lead, coordinate and negotiate with internal / external stakeholders to agree on the system design requirement.
• Conduct technical investigation in relation to incidents and provide technical advice to maintainers
• Take up offshore assignment from time to time to support the growth business of the Corporation as required
