Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible for media liaison and supporting the Office in implementing promotion and media communication strategies to highlight the strengths and achievements of the University, aiming to maximise positive publicity. He / She will be required to :
- Assist in preparing media communications materials such as press invitations, press releases, articles, line-to-takes and scripts for media interviews, etc
- Handle local and Mainland communications duties with media, internal and external stakeholders such as organising press conferences, briefings, and interviews
- Perform daily media monitoring and handle media enquiries
- Explore interesting stories for the media, the University community and the public
- Assist in coordinating and organising campus tours for the University’s key stakeholders
- Support the Office in the other aspects of work, including corporate communications, event management, marketing and other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s)
Requirements
Candidates with less / more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits and mandatory provident fund, and gratuity.
