Job descriptionMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role. Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies and practices. Experience in B2C product development is highly desirable. Familiarity with the insurance industry is a plus, but not mandatory. Strong understanding of Agile events and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Cantonese. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
My client is a leading marketing insurance firm seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to join their team and drive Agile practices across projects.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile development processes, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to manage the product backlog, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery.
- Act as a Project Manager by tracking project timelines, facilitating daily stand-ups, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Educate and guide the team on the differences between Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
- Organize and facilitate Agile events (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and report progress to the team and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.
- Support the team in resolving impediments and enhancing productivity.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Cantonese to engage diverse stakeholders.
