Kody is a fast-growing fintech start-up on a mission to transform payment solutions for brick-and-mortar businesses, especially in hospitality. Our mobile point-of-sale and payments aggregator is helping merchants run smoother, smarter operations. With fresh backing from leading investors and hospitality brands, we’re scaling fast and we’re looking for a Product Designer to help us do it.
This isn’t a role where you’ll just be “making things look pretty.” You’ll be shaping experiences from the ground up, balancing research, UX, visual design and (bonus!) hands-on Webflow work to get things into the wild faster. You’ll be the voice of our merchants, their teams, their customers and our own colleagues, making sure every detail we build actually solves problems.
You’ll be based in Hong Kong, working in our office (a beautiful new space in Admiralty).
What you’ll be doing
- Research & discovery : Get to know our merchants and their needs, and use those insights to guide your design decisions.
- Design ownership : Define information architecture, user flows, UX, and UI, and own the journey from concept to build
- Rapid prototyping : Validate ideas quickly with Figma prototypes, user testing, and iteration
- UI & interactions : Deliver polished visuals, transitions, and animations that raise the bar
- Webflow builds : Bring designs to life in Webflow for our website, prototypes and light-weight product experiences
- Partner with engineers : Make sure your vision is carried through to the final build, and review / test along the way
- Design ops : Help evolve our design system, processes, and tools as the team grows
Requirements
2+ years of product or commercial UX / UI design experienceStrong Figma skills for high-fidelity design and prototypingWebflow experience, enough to design, build, and publish responsive pages (portfolio evidence = big plus)A human-centered design mindset and a knack for user researchStrong communication skills – you can explain your choices clearly and bring others alongComfort working in a fast-paced, changing environmentEnglish fluency (written and spoken)Cantonese fluency (bonus)Benefits
