INTERN : Structured Products Application Developer

IT (Information Technology) Internship Hong Kong, Hong Kong Reference 25000KCE Start date 2026 / 01 / 02 Publication date 2025 / 09 / 29

Responsibilities

Propose and develop solutions to modernize legacy tools using technologies Java, C#
Assist the IT development team in various technical modernization and decommissioning project
Investigate, identify and resolve incidents and problems
Collaborate with other IT development and infrastructure teams to ensure the stability of production
Monitor application and chain health. Build monitoring using external tools and develop in-house monitoring tool
Take initiatives to reduce the operational risks and improve efficiency of day-to-day production

Profile required

Currently studying towards a relevant bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering or similar majors

Have good knowledge on Unix and SQL

Capable to understand and code with programming languages ( Java, C#)

Willing to learn, able to learn quickly

Have good communication and interpersonal skills

Have positive mindset and work as a team player

Fluency in English is mandatory

This is a 1–3-month full-time winter internship with Societe Generale in Hong Kong whereby you will work within one business line / support function for the period. In order to apply for an internship opportunity with us, please ensure you are currently studying towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree and that you are available for the 1–3-month period on a full-time basis.
