Field Service Technician
Summary
Our client is a American Rail Technology Company leading the forefront of sustainable freight and passenger transportation and we are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer.
The metro field engineer will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and conducting engineering activities related to metro rail systems. This includes maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of metro infrastructure.
This role will be based in Hong Kong, a valid visa is required if necessary.
Do note that seniority of the role with depend on the L1 / L2 / L3 Technician Proficiency, MTRC CP(T) and Registered Electrical Worker (REW) Grade.
Job Responsibilities
- Conducting routine assessments and inspections of metro rail systems and infrastructure
- Managing and coordinating maintenance and repair activities for metro equipment and facilities
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues with metro systems, including signaling, power supply, and rolling stock
- Collaborating with maintenance teams and technicians to ensure timely resolution of technical issues
- Developing and implementing engineering solutions to improve the performance and reliability of metro rail systems
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards in all engineering activities
Job Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year working experience, holder of MTRC CP(T) and L1 / L2 / L3 Technician certification.Strong experience in Platform Screen Doors (PSD) and Automatic Platform Gates (APG).Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related fieldExperience working in the rail or metro industry, preferably in a maintenance or engineering role.Strong knowledge of metro rail systems, including signaling, power supply, and rolling stockExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Strong communication and leadership skills to coordinate with maintenance teams and stakeholders.Familiarity with safety regulations and standards specific to metro rail systemsFor further information or to arrange a confidential discussion, please apply with your updated CV to darren.ou@airswift.com
