Lead Solution Specialist

Job Duties

  • Technical Leadership :  Act as the technical owner for payment service, guiding internal teams and external vendors through all phases of the project lifecycle and application support.
  • Requirements Gathering :  Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements for payment services.
  • System Design & Architecture :  Design scalable and efficient system architectures that support complex payment flows while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Integration Management :  Oversee integration efforts with third-party software vendors and banking partners, ensuring seamless connectivity and robust data exchange.
  • End-to-End Payment Flow Analysis :  Analyze existing payment flows (DDA / DDI, FPS, CMU) to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
  • API Development & Management :  Work closely with developers to design, implement, and manage Bank Open APIs that facilitate secure transactions between systems.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance :  Develop testing strategies to validate system functionality against requirements; ensure thorough testing is conducted before deployment.
  • Documentation & Training :  Create comprehensive documentation for system designs, processes, and user guides; provide training sessions for internal teams as needed.
  • Stakeholder Communication :  Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout project lifecycles; provide regular updates on progress, risks, and issues.
  • Compliance & Security Oversight :  Ensure that all systems comply with relevant regulations and security best practices.

Education / Qualification

  • Degree holder or above in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent
  • Skills / Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end payment flows including DDA / DDI, FPS, CMU, and Bank Open API standards.
  • Proven experience working collaboratively with software vendors and banking institutions on complex projects.
  • Proficiency in system design methodologies; familiarity with Agile / Scrum practices is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail; ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—with an ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Working Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in system analysis or technical lead roles preferred within financial services or payments industry.
