Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role. Proficient in Kotlin or Java Spring boot Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
My client, a leading virtual bank is seeking an experienced Backend Developer / Engineer to join their HK based team. You'll be part of a new project focused on imporving the user onboarding process and experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the security and data protection of our systems.
- Prioritize software quality by writing maintainable code through Test-Driven Development (TDD), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI / CD)
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
