My client, a top US investment bank is seeking an experienced Java Engineer to join them in the Hong Kong office and support their cross asset trading systems

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, enhance, and maintain software solutions within a complex architecture spanning multiple platforms.
Utilize Core Java and object-oriented programming principles to deliver high-quality code.
Work on SpringBoot and SpringCloud applications, with a preference for experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Demonstrate strong database skills, particularly with DB2 and PostgreSQL.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that meet business requirements.
Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems.

Skills & Qualifications :

2+ years of hands-on experience in software development.

Proficiency in Core Java and a deep understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.

Strong skills in Spring Boot with a preference for experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Solid database skills, with familiarity in working with DB2 and PostgreSQL.

Previous experience in a financial or investment bank environment is preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and development.
