Your ‘day to day’You will be employed under Philip Morris Asia Limited (PMAL) and support our electronic Product Development Center (ePDC) in Hong Kong. You will oversee the product quality of external partner in design and manufacturing. Ensure all sourced products deliver the best in-class electronic consumer experience in terms of quality, performance & reliability. Ensure quality is built into the product by effective usage of all Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools in the early phase of product development. Responsibilities : You will…

• Own the overall of product quality with our key manufacturing partners in Asia.
• Develop quality protocol and maintain world-class levels of Quality Engineering in all manufacturing processes. Provide directional guidance during Design, DFM, PFMEA and Control Plan reviews. Ensure Lessons Learnt have been incorporated.
• Develop rational quality protocol for supplier & manufacturer to maximize quality and minimize costs. Conduct risk assessments in product, testing and manufacturing process through the NPI process delivers quality built-in product.
• Exceed goals and deliver world class metric / KPI performance in quality and yield improvements. Drive for continue improvement on suppliers in term of quality, cost reduction on parts managed by manufacturing partner and business towards operational excellence.
• Ensure suppliers own quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements, cascading down the requirements into product design, control strategy to achieve zero field return.
• Bridge PMI QMS system with suppliers' system. Prepare high level executive summaries to management, reporting key supplier performance and quality challenges. Act as the leader in managing quality crisis and seek for QMS completion with minimum business disruption.Who we’re looking forDesired Qualifications :
• University degree in BSc degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 10 years above working experience in electronic industry and quality and engineering discipline
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt will be an advantage
• Experience in high volume electronic consumer product and different manufacturing business models management
• Thorough knowledge of Quality System, project management and advance quality philosophy, i.e. Six Sigma methodology
• Experience in ISO quality standard of FDA is an advantage
• Strong communication skills
• Good understanding and knowledge of financial analysis and measures
• Demonstrated leadership capability to drive above the line thinking
• Ability to network and influence at every organizational level, internally and externally
• Negotiation and conflict management skills
• Proficiency in project management techniques
