Job Description : Objective Summary
Reporting to Group Executive Chairman and Managing Director, the incumbent leads strategic engagement with government departments, statutory bodies and NGOs, be responsible for executing strategies, initiatives and projects on public affairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive public affairs strategies to effectively engage with government bodies, regulators, and key stakeholders in countries where the Group operates including PRC, HK, Macau & Singapore;
Support management in the preparation of speeches, speaking points and presentation materials for external and internal functions / events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key Government officials and NGO representatives to advance the Shun Tak Group's interests and objectives, receive and coordinate hospitality arrangements for government official / guests;Cultivate positive relationship with mainstream media particularly focusing on Greater Bay Area and other regions in China and manage media enquiries properly;Monitor and analyze relevant policy developments and legislative initiatives that may impact the Group's development in mainland areas;Conduct research on topics including political trends, regulatory changes, economic and industry developments in counties and cities where the Group operates;Collaborate with internal team in Beijing to align public affairs initiatives with business goals and priorities;Manage corporate website, intranet, annual report and social media platform and ensure quality writing in newsletter and company brochure and publications, etc.;Perform other ad hoc duties as and when necessary;Frequent travel with Chairman is required.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Proven track record of at least 10 years in public affairs, government relations, NGO, or related roles, with focus on the Group’s concerned regions;Strong proficiency in writing, demonstrating the ability to craft clear and compelling content for diverse audiences
Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua;Deep understanding of mainland government structures, policies, and regulatory frameworks;Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities;Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
