Your new role

  • A Retail Bank in Hong Kong with regional business coverage is seeking a seasoned Head of Investment Strategy with a bigger focus in Fixed Ie.

What you'll need to succeed

  • This leadership position is responsible for developing and refining the bank's investment house view and overall market strategy.
  • Beyond providing house view strategies, the role also involves public engagement, serving as a spokesperson to share the bank's viewpoint on investment markets with media and industry audiences. Strongmunication and presentation skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Shaping the bank's investment house view, and supporting the frontline with investment sales related materials.
  • Lead and mentor a small team, fostering a strong investment advisory culture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create investment sales materials for frontline staff.
  • Represent the bank in media engagements, providing expert insights on investment markets.
  • Deliver presentations and thought leadership on key investment trends.

    • What you'll get in return

  • Holder of bachelor degree in a related area.
  • 15+ yeas of proven experience in investment strategy within a banking or financial services environment.
  • Strong fixed ie and macro market knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a small team.
  • Exceptionalmunication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in spoken and written Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
  • Deep understanding of global and regional investment markets.
  • Experience acting as a spokesperson for investment insights is highly desirable.
  • Holder of HKSI Papers 1, 7, and 8.
