One of the world’s leading financial newswires is looking for an experienced financial reporter to join its M&A team to write market-moving scoops and in-depth executive interviews for both listed and private enterprises.

Ideally you will already have an established M&A source network.

The Senior M&A Reporter’s Responsibilities :

  • Develop sources within APAC public and private companies, to produce exclusive M&A stories, being the first to break news of deals and strategies, and write about market trends in English.
  • Travel to industry events and conferences, building your network of sources, and interviewing corporate executives, lawyers, bankers, etc.
  • Collaborate with local and regional team members

Skills & Requirements :

  • Good understanding of basic financial and M&A concepts
  • Passionate and aggressive in financial investigative reporting, strong ability to develop sources and break exclusive stories ahead of the competition.
  • Solid financial reporting experience, strong English skills in writing and speaking, and at least 3 years’ journalism experience
